Paige Candee

 

Public Relations Director

As Purdue Marion’s public relations director and a former charitable organization professional, Paige Candee blends a breadth of experience in order to build relationships between agency clients and target audiences. Her unique perspective enables her to creatively meet client goals and objectives through brand marketing, media relations, message development, community relations, special event planning, and strategic planning.

Paige applies a diverse set of skills to increase awareness and enhance corporate reputations for a wide range of local, regional and national clients, including commercial developers, homebuilders, architectural firms, training organizations, small businesses, non-profit groups, and hospitality and educational entities.

Prior to joining Purdue Marion & Associates, Paige was the development, fundraising, and volunteer management coordinator for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada where she managed donor and vendor relations, conducted speaking engagements, researched and prepared grants, and screened, trained and managed more than a hundred volunteers. She also played an integral roll in the launch of its “5K Run For A Wish,” and served as race director for three years. 

Paige is president of the Colgate University Las Vegas Alumni Club, a master graduate of Rapport Leadership International, a member of the Public Relations Society of America (which named her Newcomer of the Year in 2006), and recently founded a local affiliate of the international Dress for Success charitable organization. She holds a certification in non-profit management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Paige has a degree in peace & conflict resolution and political science from Colgate University and studied at American University while working at Amnesty International’s Headquarters in Washington D.C.
