Crisis Communications and Issues Management

We’re a positive, upbeat team, but that doesn’t stop us from preparing you for the worst when that unplanned, unexpected or unwanted situation or issue occurs. While crisis situations can be unpleasant and uncomfortable, how you handle them doesn’t have to be. Your forthright, rapid and deliberate response and management of the situation will keep your reputation intact and may even shine a better light on you, turning an obstacle into an opportunity.

We will work with you and your team to assess the situation or issue, identify all the variables, and develop a tailored plan of action to interact with, respond to and follow up with all of your stakeholders. These may include customers, employees, shareholders, elected and appointed officials, business partners, board members, vendors and other important audiences, particularly media. The media can be a great resource in disseminating information; and sometimes, depending on the particular crisis, it’s the story that doesn’t run that provides the greatest measure of success.

We also will help you put policies and procedures in place for internal and external communications response in anticipation of an emergency or crisis situation.

Crisis communications and issues management are valuable tools we hope you never have to use.
