Stakeholder Outreach

City of Henderson hosts a block party to gather information on where to place a park in the Pitman neighborhood, and what amenities neighbors most desire.

Stakeholder outreach often is seen as simply holding a public meeting so it can be checked off the list of requirements to gain municipal approval. Purdue Marion & Associates views stakeholder outreach as a much more in-depth and meaningful process of open exchange of information and ideas that results in improved relationships with these audiences, often creating ambassadors who carry a client’s mission forth in a positive manner.

We understand how critical it is to identify public concerns and values, to develop consensus, and build trust between our clients and their constituencies. The outreach process becomes relatively organic as feedback is taken into account as next steps are developed, and solutions are created through an open and inclusive process. The goal always is to truly engage and involve our stakeholders in the process so they vest themselves in the goals and sustain their involvement. We have the expertise to facilitate meetings, focus groups and craft events that provoke interest.
