In 2012 Kyle Harris bought a one-way ticket from his home town of Russellville, Ark. to Las Vegas at the age of 22 for the woman he met on Twitter and who is now his wife. After a two-year engagement, Kyle and Bryanna tied the knot on May 30, 2015 and live streamed it using Twitter’s livestreaming app, Periscope, allowing friends and family who were unable make it in person to tune into their big day.
Thousands of people tuned into the wedding that garnered the attention of Twitter itself, but also major media outlets like HuffPost Live, Good Morning America, Cosmopolitan Magazine, PeopleNOW, and Las Vegas Weekly, and even earned the couple the title of “Best Periscope” by Vegas Seven Magazine.
Over the past nearly five years, Kyle has used his attention and rapidly growing following (more than 30K Twitter followers) along with his knowledge and passion for social media to help brands grow their online presence.
Kyle has created branded content on platforms such as Vine and Twitter for companies such as Dot Vegas, Sbyke, Starburst and local clothing brand Lucrative. In 2015, he took on the role of social media supervisor at Stratosphere Hotel & Casino. Later, he decided to move on to work as a freelance consultant, winning clients such as Jon Taffer of Bar Rescue, Flippin’ Good Burgers, Artifice Bar, Cheffini’s Hot Dogs, Once Interactive and more recently The Space and Mondays Dark, which was created by the Golden Knight’s in-arena host Mark Shunock.
